About EPRInfo.com
EPRInfo.com is an independent directory of companies offering packaging EPR authorised representation for the German market. It exists because that information was surprisingly hard to find in one place, in English, in a form that allowed one provider to be compared with another.
Why this site exists
Since 12 August 2026, companies selling packaged goods into Germany without an establishment there may need to appoint an authorised representative. The obligation arrived quickly, it affects sellers who mostly do not read German, and there is no official list of providers to choose from — the Zentrale Stelle Verpackungsregister does not publish one.
What exists instead is a market of providers, each describing their own service on their own terms, with prices that are structured so differently that comparing two quotes side by side is genuinely difficult. We built the comparison we could not find.
Who runs it
EPRInfo.com is published by PRonline Media UG (haftungsbeschränkt), a small company based in Berlin, run by Rico-Thore Kauert. Full company details are in the imprint.
This is not our first directory of this kind. We also operate Clipping-Anbieter.de, a long-running German-language overview of media monitoring providers, built on the same principle: describe what each provider offers, based on what they publish themselves, and let the reader draw the conclusions.
What we are not
We are not an authorised representative and we do not want to become one. We do not handle registrations, we do not sell packaging licences, and we do not give legal advice. If your question is whether a specific obligation applies to your specific business, the right people to ask are a qualified advisor or the Zentrale Stelle Verpackungsregister — not us.
We also do not rank providers or award scores. There is no "best" authorised representative, only ones that fit a particular situation better or worse. What we can do is set out the facts side by side.
How this is funded
Being listed is free and always will be. Nothing a provider pays for changes whether they appear in the comparison, where they appear in it, or how their entry is described.
We intend to offer providers the option of paying for additional visibility — a highlighted profile, or a clearly labelled placement. Where that happens, the label is visible without hovering or clicking, and the neutral comparison below it is unaffected. If we ever earn a commission on a referral, we will say so on this page before we do it.
Our reasoning is simple: a comparison that can be bought is worth nothing to the reader, and a comparison worth nothing to the reader is worth nothing to providers either.
Getting things wrong
Some of what is published here will be inaccurate or out of date at any given moment. Providers change their pricing, restructure their services and update their imprints without telling us. We record when we last checked each entry precisely so you can judge how much weight to give it.
If you spot something wrong — whether you are a provider, a seller, or simply someone who knows better — tell us and we will fix it. Corrections cost nothing and require no relationship with us.
