What we process when you visit
When you open a page, your browser transmits technical data that our hosting provider records in server log files. This typically includes your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, the referring page, and details of your browser and operating system.
This processing is based on our legitimate interest in operating the site securely and reliably (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Log data is not merged with other data sources and is not used to identify individual visitors. [TO CONFIRM: retention period of your hosting provider's server logs]
Hosting
This website is hosted by Lovable, which processes the server log data described above on our behalf. The database behind our provider directory is operated on Supabase infrastructure located in Frankfurt, Germany. All data is stored within the European Union. Information about the specific subprocessors involved is available from us on request.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not set cookies and does not use analytics, tracking or advertising tools. No profile of your visit is created, and no third-party scripts are loaded when you view the site.
Contacting us
If you email us, your message and contact details are stored for the purpose of handling your enquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR), or the performance of a contract where your enquiry relates to one (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). We delete this data once it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.
Provider data in our directory
Our directory contains information about companies, which is generally not personal data. Where a listed provider is a sole trader or a partnership, information such as the name of the proprietor may constitute personal data. In those cases we process only information the company itself has published, for the purpose of providing an accurate business directory. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in publishing a factual overview of the market (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
If you are a listed provider and would like an entry corrected or removed, contact us at the address above.
External links
This site links to third-party websites. Once you follow such a link, this policy no longer applies and the privacy policy of the site you visit takes over. We have no influence over how those operators process data.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to obtain information about the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have data erased or its processing restricted, to data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. To exercise any of these, contact us at the address above.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).
Changes
We update this policy when the way we process data changes.
